First things first! Get everything open and ready before you start working to ensure nothing disrupts your creative flow as you build your presentation.

The Set-Up

Follow these steps to get your computing environment ready to create:

  1. Open PowerPoint
  2. Open the template file: xxxxxxx.pptx
    Get file
  3. Set-up your color palette
    What's a color palette?
  4. If you are going to add/change any images in your presentation, go ahead and open your image editing program of choice or use a free image editing website such as:
    • Adobe Photoshop
    • Gimp (free downloadable software)
      Gimp website
    • Microsoft Digital Image Pro
  5. If you are going to add/change any images in your presentation and don't have any image editing software, you could also use free image editing websites such as:
